My boyfriend got me a laptop tote from Izzo Shop for my birthday last year. My coin purse is from Izzo Shop. If I were still in school, I would probably have bought a new school bag from Izzo Shop. Quaint Desk Goodies

Just when the day couldn't get better last Sunday after graduation, I found out from Chai's blog that I won her Quaint Desk Giveaway! Quaint Desk's owner Grace soon emailed me confirming my details, and today Mr. Courier Man came by after lunch with the package! *happy dance*

I've probably joined over twenty or thirty giveaways online, never having won any of them. I'm so happy that this was my first! I love the fact that I won cute arts and crafts-y goodies from such a lovely store. :)

Such lovely packaging! It's a bit smooshed from the trip, but I love how decorated tape can make anything pretty!

Snail Mail Roses.

Roses are surprisingly still very effective. I always thought they were cliche, but... heh. :"> 

Joseph asked me to choose which bouquet I liked best in Island Rose's collection, and he sent me two dozen today of these pink and lavender roses. The deliveryman asked if it was my birthday or something, and when I said it wasn't, he smirked in an all-knowing way and said it was probably an early Christmas gift for me. I grinned and thanked him. 

He isn't going to read this unless I force him to, but ehhhh. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuu, Joseph. You made this Saturday awesome - from the moment the lovely flowers arrived, to the moment that you came to bring me out and treat me to a wonderful (albeit expensive) dinner. (Thanks to Mariel and Dudes too, hihi - we dropped by rather spontaneously on your cozy evening together, but at least we all got to play Monopoly Deal!) I sort of feel bad that I had to take a day off from thesis work, but I do think today's activities were all worth it!

Fireworks came up just outside the restaurant. He said he had them prepared for me. Fufufufu. 

I can spam this post with twenty or so more shots of the pretty roses, but I won't. :"> When they finally dry out and I can press them in between books or something, I at least have these wonderful photographs of their prettiness. That last photo doesn't even really jive with the theme of this post, but ah, well, it keeps me grounded - there's so much to do and I'm two or so buildings behind schedule already. But since I did stay up until four thirty in the morning today (Saturday) and woke up after six hours of sleep, I'm going to say it's justified that I sleep before midnight tonight.

So, goodnight, world. May your slumber be as pink and rosy as mine will be. ;)

"Concentrating" on thesis. Hihihi.

BABY SHIHTZU AND MOMMY SHIHTZU. Mommy is called Pilar
(she's the loveliest, nicest, sweetest one I've met!) and her baby is Perla. I think.
My first time seeing a baby purebreed shihtzu, and she was so TINY and cute and was so young that
she was still walking lopsidedly and trailing after mommy!

DADDY! He's Pepe. :)

My nephew! We don't see him often, which is why he's still so wary when we carry him.
Otherwise, he's a baby who loves to smile! And so guapo!

Just another awesome Friday. Right after my mom picked me up from the north, we stopped by at home to drop off my stuff before visiting my Lolo. I got to see the stuff I ordered (YEHEEEEEEY, awesome necklaces and the awesome chill casual Batman shirt), I saw my Lolo after so long (he lives in the US, and has come home for good), I attempted to play with my nephew, and I SAW THE CUTEST BABY SHIHTZU. Fufufufufu. I wanted to steal her and sneak her out of the house in my bag. I couldn't catch quite the good picture of her because she was so hyper and kept following her mommy. But, ah, well. I shall play with her more next time! :3
